Senator Orji Kalu Showed-up At The Wedding Ceremony of His Staff In Abuja, With Friends
It was a bang on Saturday, at the Raw Material Research and Development Council Maitama, the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja as the Senator representing Abia North, Senator Orji Uzor Kalu showed-up at the wedding ceremony of one of his staff, Mrs Chinwe Henry.
Senator Orji Kalu, who promised to be at the wedding occasion, kept to his promise as he attended the wedding that garnered the parents, friends and well wishers of both the Bride and the Bridegroom.
Senator Kalu was accompanied by his friend, Hon. Chief Daniel Okeke, who was the APC candidate for Arochukwu/Ohafia Federal Constituency in the just concluded 2023 election. Other notable dignitaries present at the occasion included the Deputy National Chairman (South) of the All Progressive Congress, Chief Emma Eneukwu from Enugu State.
The Bride, Chinwe Henry, who is a staff of the Orji Uzor Kalu Foundation, a foundation that focuses on the welfare of the less privileged, elderly, and disabled individuals. It also provides scholarships for students to study in our indigenous universities and have also supported some students in studying medicine abroad.
Mr. Peter Eze, speaking on behalf of the foundation’s staff, expressed that Chinwe is a homely, good, and respectful woman. He described her as hardworking and well-organized, suggesting that the newlywed couple would have a peaceful and fruitful home.
