Just In: SEYPF Applauds Senator Orji Kalu For His Proactive Letter To The National CCECPC, On Delegates From Abia State.
The Southeast Youths Political Forum (SEYPF), Abia State chapter, on Wednesday applauded the Senate Chief whip and the leader of the All Progressive Congress Abia state, Dr Orji Uzor Kalu, for his proactive letter to the All Progressive Congress National Chairman Caretaker/Extraordinary Convention Planning Committee, Governor Mai Mala Buni, on the authentic list of delegations for the coming National convention.
Speaking with newsmen in Aba the Enyimba city, the chairman of the group, Amb. Chidiebere Osuagwu Stated that such move by Sen Orji Uzor Kalu is a deterrent against the confusion, stage managed by some people in the state, to tear apart the state chapter of the All Progressive Congress. In his words, he acknowledged that the names on the list, in the letter written to the extraordinary committee by the distinguished senator Orji Kalu are genuine, recognized and unbiased as he said.
“Vetting through the list made available through various media, Abians can assert that the Senate Chief Whip of the 9th Assembly of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, is confident that the state chapter of the All Progressive Congress, APC in Abia state, are united as ever.
“The names of those on the list, goes far to say, the listed, were the victory and breakthrough needed by the APC in the 2019 election that did not only win for the party a seat of the Chief Whip of the 9th Senate, it also galvanized for the All Progressive Congress the deputy chief whip, House of Representatives, Hon. Nkiruka Onyejiocha, whom was welcomed by the APC from the PDP prior to the 2019 elections. The APC spokesman in the Green carpet, Hon. Benjamin Kalu is also a product of such victory, Hon. Chijioke Chukwu, the Minority leader presently in the house of assembly, Abia state, of which, all of them are on this list.
“Also included on the list are, Hon Martins Azubuike whom was a speaker in Abia state house of Assembly, whom actively was to deputy, Honorable Uchechukwu Sampson Ogah, in the 2019 governorship ticket and many other names as contained in the letter sent to the extraordinary committee for the convention, consisting of APC stakeholders that were in one elective positions in the past.
“The names listed are strong rooted to the APC, in Abia state. Standing by the truth, the letter written by the Dist. Senator and Chief whip, is the uncovered solutions to the stage managed commotions that had been a trend for long, checking history at previous election years, in Abia state.
“We acknowledge Senator Kalu for his proactive measures towards the success of the coming National Convention, which the APC’s National Chairman Caretaker/Extraordinary Convention Planning Committee should work with.
“The names contained in Orji Kalu’s latter were listed unbiased and in accordance with the party’s guidelines, toppled with the facts of Sen. Orji Kalu been the leader of the All Progressive Congress, in Abia state”. He concluded.
