The Executive Chairman of Umunneochi LGA participated in the election of Nneato Development Union and thereafter supervised their oat-taking and swearing-in. By this, he has again showed that he is good from home and the people of Nneato are happy at that.

The Executive Chairman attended the chieftaincy conferment of Ebere Nwankwo as the Nwachinemere 1 of Abia State by H.R.H Eze Fidelis Emenike (Ike ji Mba II of Uru Lokpaukwu). At the occasion, the chairman lead the C.E.O of Regal Group to the reception of the title.

The Executive Chairman conveyed an extraordinary Stakeholders meeting of PDP in Umunneochi. At the meeting, he enumerated his activities so far even amidst insecurity. He sued for peace across board, noting that a united front will make way for victories in forthcoming elections of 2023. He made a donation of one million naira (1,000,000.00) for Christmas celebration to party members.
Also on the same day, he attended the wedding ceremony of the Councilor representing Lekwesi ward Hon. Chinemerem Nwankwo at Amuda Isuochi. He charged the newly wedded to see marriage as a new beginning while relying on God for directions and guide.

World heavyweight boxing champion Ultimate commander paid a courtesy visit to the Executive chairman. According to the boxer who hails from Nneato in Umunneochi, he said he has come to congratulate his brother for emerging as the Executive Chairman of Umunneochi. He did not hide his joy at such novelty that came to his people. He promised to contribute his quota to the development of Umunneochi and to continue to be a good ambassador of the LGA, state and county.

The Executive Chairman attended the Thanksgiving ceremony of Prof. Maduebibisi Ofo Iwe, the Vice Chancellor of Michael Okpara University of Agriculture Umudike. The event was organised by the people of Amuda as a reception for their own who by merit was appointed to head such a great citadel of learning. He used the opportunity to request the VC to create employment opportunities for the people of Umunneochi. He also reminded him of the need to speed up action on the prospective Seed Technology Centre slated to be established in Umunneochi.

He was at Cattle Market Lokpaukwu for a third consecutive day of traffic control. In fact, he was all day busy with men of the Road Safety making sure there was no traffic jam with the axis.

He attended the birthday celebration of the Speaker of Abia State House of Assembly Engr Chinedum Enyinnaya Orji MNSE. It was another opportunity to interact with the number four man in Abia state. He appealed to the speaking Speaker to intervene wherever he can as regards the insecurity bedeviling Umunneochi.
It is safe here to say that the Executive Chairman of Umunneochi has done well in this first year in office and we are hoping for a better second year.
