OUK, The Joseph Of The East: The Misunderstood Dogged, Focused And Compatriot.
It is unbelievable that the choice of words used by senator Orji Uzor Kalu in his post on his verified facebook is ringing negatively in the minds of some Nigerians from the southeast.
Permit me to ask; what on earth, would make Orji Kalu, a senator representing the people to make a negative statement against his people? Are we aware of the implications in this choice of the negative interpretation given to dent a man that whole heartedly got involved in finding a bearing to the unconditional release of our brother, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, as requested in the visits of delegates from the east? Supposedly, all hands was to be on deck in finding this solutions as thought.
In the typical 9ja settings, childhood friends, relatives, colleagues, etc, can hype themselves, saying, “you’re a bad guy! “, does that truly make them criminals? Such compliments are for the smartness, but in a sort of a negative adjective.
In an establishment, companies, groups, etc, the collaborations of staff to attain huge success can lead to the CEO, calling the staff “wizards”, but they had no magical powers involved in achieving that success, to be called “wizards” rather, it was just that team work.
There are words, directly opposite in meaning that could be used to qualify substances or human.
You’re called a Lion (Odum) doesn’t meant you’re a carnivorous animals, rather the positive aspects of that Lion in you, begot such qualifications.
You could be called a Snake, doesn’t mean you swallow animals rather, You Can Be Wise Like A Serpent (Snake) And Be Harmless Like A Dove!
The crowd following our brother, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu can drive one “Insane”. That I expected to mean, on the positive that such crowd can get the brains distorted, just like experienced in the southeast region recently, in the calls for the release of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu.
It is pitiful, people had to stand on the other side of the choice of words used by Sen. Orji Kalu. It is even becoming petty, to be politically driven, to turn away the minds of our people here in the core east, painting the senator black.
What a way to appreciate ones efforts!
We refuse, this be done to our brother and leader, Senator Orji Uzor Kalu. He committed no crime going to see Mazi Kanu, having his name on the said visitors list.
Sen. Orji Uzor Kalu is a principal officer of the 9th Senate. Engagements, possibly are much, as could had been the reasons he was unable to make it to the APC state congress, as the party leader of Abia State. For his goodwill of his time, to had visited our brother, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, we commend him immensely for such devotions in fighting a place for us, his people.
It had been in the gens of Senator Orji Kalu, in his struggles to rescue his people. He was fought by President Obasanjo, when he gave order for the demolitions of every toll gates of the federal government in his state, then as a governor of Abia state. Reasons are because, the roads upon which the tolls are collected, were death traps, sacrificing our people to accident, as a result of the bad road conditions.
Orji Kalu rescued us during several crisis in the north, in the past. Why should we forget easily, Sen Orji Kalu’s commitments to the Igbo land?
Am not here for a campaign, if so, the lists on his commitments to his people are Lauder, of which he doesn’t deserve this negative interpretations of hates, to score political points.
We’re with you most Dist. Sir, your contributions to the Igbo race can not wash away from us, neither would we allow your name be sacrificed in the alter of misinterpretation.
