Mr Peter Eze Was Born On May 10th 1990 into the Eze family of Aji Community In Igbo-Eze North LGA Of Enugu State Nigeria.
Sir Bontux Is Unarguably a product of Hardwork, Determination and Grace. He began his academic pursuit at “The Lord’s Foundation Primary School, Nnewi, Anambra State, where he maintained a lead in first position from Primary three and graduated with a distinction; a feat that culminated in being admitted into the prestigious Federal Government College, Nise, Anambra State.
His Post Primary Educational Foray And Experience featured a young man who set out a goal and did everything possible to achieve it. It was therefore not surprising that he successfully scaled through all the hurdles associated with post-primary education , recorded enviable results in the West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) and admitted into University of Nigeria, Nsukka, to study Economics.
It was in the University of Nigeria, Nsukka that the managerial and resourceful abilities of Peter Eze came into full glare. As a student , he held several leadership positions including Chair of Committees and Secretary General of Nigerian Economics Students Association, NESA .
He was later elected President of Nigerian Economic Students Association (NESA) 2013/2014 at a time a ban was placed on Students Union Government (SUG). As a student-leader -he left indelible footprints and platforms for young people to emulate. To his credit, the maiden Reunion/Homecoming of the graduates of Economic Department, University of Nigeria, Nsukka, was organized during his tenure as the president of Nigerian Economics Students’ Association (NESA). Themed “Gathering of Eco Generals”, the event attracted tremendous donation in cash and materials for the development of the department. He also organized a popular event which saw to the visiting of the Chairman of Slok Group and former governor of Abia State, Dr Orji Uzor Kalu to the university among other landmark events and unprecedented achievements unexpected of a student association.
In recognition of his outstanding leadership achievements, Peter has received 11 different awards and honours from several student bodies in the UNN. Prominent among them were
* Most Hardworking President Award (2013/2014) by the Faculty of Social Sciences (FOSSA), UNN, Enugu State, Nigeria.
* Personality of the Year Award (2013/2014) by the Faculty of Engineering, UNN, Enugu State, Nigeria
*Exemplary Leadership Award (2013/2014) by the Faculty of Agriculture Students’ Association, UNN, Enugu State Nigeria.
On the 22nd July 2017, in what was unprecedented in the history of the UNN, Peter Eze despite being a fresh graduate was specially invited to the Homecoming event and Lecture Series of the Department of Economics, University of Nigeria Nsukka. At the event , he was honoured with a Meritorious “Distinguished Leadership Award”. He was awarded alongside Mr Godwin Emefiele ,the Governor of Central Bank of Nigeria, , Hon Ferdinand Dozie Nwankwo, Member House of Representatives, Professor Samuel Edoumiekumo, Vice Chancellor of Delta State University and others.
Peter’s strong belief that everything the mind conceives is achievable has indeed propelled him to do exploits wherever he finds himself. Thus even after leaving the university, Peter Eze engages in mentoring hundreds of young people across the country. During his National Youth Corps service (2015/2016) he was elected the leader of his platoon and consequently the President of his Community Development Service ,Environmental/Sanitation Group .
Peter Eze has served as a Programme Officer of the Orji Uzor Kalu Foundation, a job appointment he got immediately after graduation and as a Special Correspondent to The Sun Newspaper during his National Youth Service Corps (NYSC), positions he held with high level commitment and diligence.
During his master programme in China (2017-2019) in the Prestigious University of International Business and Economics Beijing, he was elected Student Representative in the School of Public and Business Administration. Upon his graduation in July 2019 amidst several exploits ,he emerged as the most outstanding student in China .
Today He works as the Special Assistant to His Excellency, Dr. Orji Uzor Kalu, Chief Whip of the 9th Senate , Forbes Billionaire and Former Governor of Abia State, Chairman/Chief Executive Officer of Slok Group.
His Relationship With His Boss Is One That Is A Good Case Study On How A Master Should Treat His Subordinates And How Aides Should In Turn Show True Loyalty And Gratitude To Their Bosses. Sen Orji Uzor Kalu Treats Peter Eze Like His Son, He Gives Him Opportunity To Thrive And Explore, To Make A Good Living Out Of Himself And Creates Value For Future Purposes.
