Ozigbo: An opportunist who wants to drag our great party to mud.
Right from the inception of PDP, men have labored in this Vineyard. Pulling the necessary human and material resources to work towards ensuring that PDP Anambra state chapter wax stronger.
They’ve worked with critical stakeholders both within and outside the state, to position this our great party and the results have been quite commendable. Such that it is audible to the deaf and visible to the blind.
These men have been consistent, surmounting all challenges and getting more people to join the party, even as we’ve won many elective positions. Such laudable achievements are attributed to the doggedness of some personalities like Chief Chris Ubah.
Unfortunately, some unscrupulous elements are on the verge of destroying our party but the true and dedicated members of the party have resolved to redeem PDP Anambra state from political travelers like Ozigbo and his cohorts. There’s no mincing words that PDP lost the governorship election because he’s not grounded in the party system, which led most party faithfuls to question his emergence as the right man to fly the PDP gubernatorial flag in 2021 Anambra governorship election.
His imposition by his godfather, Mr Peter Obi didn’t go well by most party members but we stood our ground to work for him. Its a devastating issue that the only way he could pay us back is to accuse the National Working Committee of aiding and abetting.
Mr Ozigbo is loyal to his godfather, Mr Peter Obi than the party itself. Little wonder why he withdrew from the senatorial race, just as his godfather did.
He has forgotten that most delegates are not happy with him and it was obvious as the delegates massively voted for Senator Ugochukwu Ubah at the primarily. It is expected of a party faithful to accept defeat and work with the winner to move the party to victory at the general elections but he chose to drag both the NWC and the state.
Its appalling how travelers think they can eat where they didn’t sow or highjack the state structure of the party.
Ozigbo and his team should prove beyond reasonable doubt that they have good plans for the party, rather than pointing accusation fingers.
