Just In: Remain Steadfast, Orji Uzor Advises APC Faithfuls In South East
The Chief Whip of the Nigerian Senate, Senator Orji Uzor Kalu, has said that the future of the South East geopolitical zone as regards politics is in the All Progressives Congress, APC.
Kalu, who was two-term Governor of Abia State from 1999, stated this in his Facebook page on Saturday.
He said it was because of the fact that, in politics, the future of the South East was in the APC, that he has continued to encourage all members of the party in Abia State to remain and forget about jumping ship.
According to the APC Presidential aspirant who made this known to the public via his verified Facebook page:
“The reality is that in every democratic setting, the majority will always have their way. In addition, signing of electoral Act by President Muhammadu Buhari has also given Nigerians the assurance that it is impossible for one man to win elections.
“Those who believe in the party and Mr President is encouraged to remain faithful to the party and support the growth of the party across board. I am pleading with my brothers and sisters who are passing through difficult moment to be patient. It may be rough today but definitely not same with tomorrow.”
