Tinubu reportedly said at a recent meeting with some Northern elders in Abuja arranged by his longtime friend, Senator Abu Ibrahim, that if he is chosen by the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) as the party’s candidate in the 2023 elections, they should leave the task of persuading Yoruba people to him.
His viewpoint was said to be that the South-West area would not object if he chose a Muslim as his running partner.

“This further proves that Tinubu is unworthy of the Nigerian presidency. A someone with enough ambition to subjugate Nigeria’s over 100 million Christians could perhaps mortgage the country one day.
“We’re currently discussing how Christians have become an endangered species, and how much more likely it is that under such a person’s presidency, we’ll all be extinct.
“We feel obligated to trust everything told about him, especially by his relatives. We’ll launch a campaign soon called “Tinubu Presidency, a Threat to the Existence of Christians in Nigeria,” based on his statement.
“We want to take this opportunity to encourage and call on all Christian politicians with the necessary capacity to save our beloved country from impending collapse to run for President in both major political parties in 2023, and we will mobilize and campaign for such a person because it is our turn.”
