Come Saturday 22nd of May 2021, the Managing Director and Chief Executive officer of the Nigerian Film Corporation Dr. Chidia Maduekwe will be the guest speaker at the “FilmMakers Forum” an event organised by the school of media and communication, Pan Atlantic University (Nollywood studies center).
The event which will be held virtually due to the COVID protocols is expected to evaluate the challenges as well as new innovations in film making with a view to improving the techniques of Nigerian Film Makers.
Dr. Chidia is expected to deliver a lecture alongside other key stakeholders in the film industry, in line with the NFC’s new drive to improve the Nigerian Film Industry.
Since he’s appointment in 2017 and subsequent reappointment in 2019 by President Buhari, Abia Born Dr. Chidia has championed several innovations and immeasurable changes that are positively impacting Nigeria’s Film Industry both at the domestic and foreign frontiers.
