Besides the postponement of its resumption it’s plenary sessions from January 26th to February 9th , members of the Nigerian Senate have been involved in other legislative duties which also include committee meetings.
On Wednesday Chief Whip of the Senate , Senator Orji Uzor Kalu and the deputy president Senator Ovie-Omo Agege were pictured making their way out of the Senate building shortly after a closed door meeting held in the office of the Deputy Senate President.
Decked in a White native attire with a traditional titled red colored cap to match the Chief Whip of the Senate stepped out side by side with Senator Ovie-Omo Agege who was equally dressed in Maya blue native attire and black cap.
The principal officers of the Red Chambers and from the Southern region of the nation were flanked by their respective aides while they departed the Senate building they also acknowledged greetings from staff and visitors in the Senate building.
