METHODIST PRELATE: ONYEJEOCHA THANKFUL FOR THE RELEASE OF HIS EMINENCE UCHE, CONDEMNS SPATE OF KIDNAPPING
Member Representing Isuikwuato/Umunneochi Federal Constituency and Deputy Chief Whip House of Representatives Barr Nkeiruka Onyejeocha, PhD has described the release of the prelate of the Methodist Church Nigeria, His Eminence, Dr. SCK Uche, the Methodist Bishop of Owerri, Rt Rev Okechukwu Michael and the Prelate’s Chaplain from abduction.
Dr Onyejeocha while decrying the state of insecurity however appreciated God for the safety of the clerics saying that their safe release calls for thanksgiving to the Lord.
The lawmaker tasked the Governor of the State, Mr Okezie Ikpeazu to seek ways to compliment the efforts of the Federal Government in tackling insecurity across the State adding that security is too critical to be neglected.
She called on the Security community to ensure adequate coverage of neglected areas such as her Isuikwuato/Umunneochi Federal Constituency urging them to consider their jobs as a service unto the Lord.
